TBD Goes European

It’s my pleasure to announce that we now have a formal TBD School in Athens Greece!!

The school is being run by Sensei Panajotis (Panos) Vlachos, who is a full time Martial Arts coach and holds several black belts in various systems including Kyokushinkai, Kick Boxing and Brazilian Ju Jitsu.

Panos wanted to introduce a reality based system into his full time academy in Athens and during his research found TBD to be the best to suit his requirements.  He was in London back in 2011 having physio for a leg injury and took the opportunity to come and train with me a few times in Swiss Cottage.  He has since been training using the DVD and instructional notes via online training and has attained sufficient levels to represent the system, our first TBD school in Europe!

I am currently writing an interview for Kostas Argyriadis, editor of the Greece Martial Arts Black Belt Magazine, which will be published shortly.

Should you wish to have the opportunity to train in Athens, I’m currently planning to attend the school a couple of times per year, the first being this coming March and tentative dates are as follows:

Fly out : Thursday 22nd March

Return Flight: Monday 26th March

I will be training various Greek instructors only for 4hrs on the Friday, then performing Public seminars on the Saturday and Sunday (3 hrs each day), followed by some sightseeing Sunday and Monday.

Cheapest flights are with easy jet from Gatwick at approx £100 return.  Panos will locate suitable hotel at reduced costs also for students attending.

Please let me know if interested in coming along either in March or future dates
